Volunteer Outreach

In our work, “neighbors helping neighbors” is more than just a catchphrase. It’s also the fuel that keeps our engine running. This is not just a metaphor! The fuel of our volunteer drivers actually powers our Saturday distributions. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to achieve last-mile delivery to hyper-local community-driven sites or be competitive from a cost perspective in comparison to mega food rescue operations like City Harvest and Food Bank of NYC.
